ESSEX COUNTY EXECUTIVE DIVINCENZO TO ANNOUNCE ONGOING
PARTNERSHIP WITH TD BANK AND TD CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

Contributions Support Educational Programs and Events
at Essex County Environmental Center and Turtle Back Zoo

Roseland, NJ - On Friday, April 27th, Essex County Executive Joseph N.
DiVincenzo, Jr. and officials from TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank,
gathered with students at the Essex County Environmental Center to announce
TD Bank was contributing $20,000 to support educational programs and events
at the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland and Essex County Turtle
Back Zoo in West Orange. The contribution is the second installment of a
four-year commitment by TD Bank and the TD Charitable Foundation to provide
$100,000 through 2014.

"Turtle Back Zoo and our Environmental Center are recognized for their
quality educational programming that provides people of all ages with
exciting and interactive opportunities to learn about nature, animals and
the importance of conservation. These are great destinations for children
and families to have a fun-filled afternoon while learning how to become
stewards for our future," DiVincenzo said. "We are pleased to have TD Bank
and the TD Charitable Foundation as our corporate partners. Their generous
support helps make it possible for us to provide a year-round curriculum,"
he added.

TD Bank and TD Charitable Foundation have had a long-time partnership with
Essex County, including a four year, $100,000 commitment that began in 2011.
They have been a sponsor of the popular Essex County SummerMusic Concert
Series for the past several years, have provided support to create an
interactive outdoor educational exhibit with a wigwam and garden at the
Essex County Environmental Center to raise awareness about the Lenape
Indians and have supported the re-introduction of the Zoo Key program at
Turtle Back Zoo. Through this program, visitors can purchase collector keys
that are shaped like animals and use the keys to activate sound boxes at
specific exhibits that share information and songs about the animals.

center, a zoo, Treetop Adventure Course, ice skating rink, roller skating
